The Spanish market has seen a flurry of partner moves in recent months, particularly in the areas of corporate, tax and banking.
U.S.-headquartered Baker McKenzie hired former DLA Piper’s Juan Gelabert Chasco to lead its Madrid banking and finance practice effective May 20. Gelabert has been a DLA partner for the past six years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has extensive experience in advising national and international clients in acquisition finance, real estate, project finance and restructuring transactions, strengthening Baker McKenzie’s transactional practice.
