Clifford Chance, Bredin Prat, and Gide Loyrette Nouel have all scored roles as Canadian investment group Brookfield acquires a majority stake in French renewable company Neoen in one of the largest European take-privates this year.

Under the terms of the deal, asset managers Brookfield, alongside Singapore state-owned Temasek, will become the majority shareholders in Neoen after acquiring the outstanding 53.3% stake held by a number of shareholders, including French billionaire Jacques Veyrat’s Impala SAS, the Fonds Stratégique de Participations, Cartusia and Xavier Barbaro, among others.
