I recently had a conversation with an international law firm partner who said he thinks the legal industry is at least 30 years behind other professional service providers in that no true global leaders dominate the legal realm.

He went on to elaborate that when a company hires an elite management consultancy like McKinsey & Company or Big Four accounting firms like PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, and EY, there’s a presumed level of service and quality of excellence and prestige that comes with it, regardless of the jurisdictions in which they are present or serve.
