US-Duo Lead as SoftBank Acquires British AI Business Graphcore

Morrison & Foerster and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe are leading on Japanese technology giant SoftBank’s acquisition of Bristol-based Graphcore, a semiconductor developer for AI and machine learning.

A person close to the deal said that the deal value was between $600 million to $800 million.
