Rimon has launched a Tokyo office following months of hiring partners who have substantial experience in advising on the Japanese market.

Last October, Rimon took a trio of intellectual property partners, Michael Fogarty, Tomoki Tanida, and Takashi Saito, from McDermott Will & Emery and launched its Japan practice. In that same month, intellectual property litigation partner David Hirsch also joined the firm. Hirsch, who has spent years working in Japan—including running his own IP practice Davidson Berquist Jackson & Gowdey—is dually based in Tokyo and Silicon Valley.
