Vinson & Elkins Taps Fried Frank For European Arbitration Head

Houston-founded Vinson & Elkins has strengthened its London disputes offering by hiring a partner from rival U.S outfit Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.

James Barratt, who is leaving Fried Frank after five years, will become V&E’s new Europe co-head of international disputes alongside existing partner Louise Woods, the firm announced.
