White & Case, Linklaters Advise as Macquarie Takes Control of National Gas

White & Case and Linklaters have been drafted in to advise as Macquarie takes full control of energy giant National Gas.

Macquarie, which initially acquired a 60% stake in National Gas back in 2022 followed by a further 20% last year, announced last Friday it had exercised its option to acquire the remaining fifth it didn’t already own from the National Grid.
