The Japanese Ministry of Justice has introduced changes to simplify the process for allowing foreign lawyers to practice in Japan.
The changes come into force on July 31, and will apply to English and Welsh solicitors among other nationalities.
The move could see an influx of lawyers from overseas after an agreement to simplify the registration process.
