Hong Kong firm Howse Williams has added to its restructuring and insolvency practice with the hire of former Ashurst and White & Case local partner Damien Whitehead.
Whitehead was most recently a consultant at alternative fund manager CarVal Investors, where he advised on distressed debt investments in Asia Pacific.
Whitehead advises on corporate restructurings, contentious and non-contentious insolvencies, turnarounds, and on legal issues pertaining to special situations.
