Sunil Kapur takes over the top leadership role at the Canadian firm from Dave Leonard, who steps down at year's end.

Canadian law firm McCarthy Tétrault announced Tuesday that Sunil Kapur will become the 700-lawyer firm's chief executive officer Jan. 1, 2025.
Kapur, who is currently the practice group leader of the firm's national litigation and dispute resolution group, will take over the CEO role from Dave Leonard, who will step down when he finishes his second term at the end of the year.
