It's been a busy week for partner moves at Canadian law firms, including the appointment to the bench of partners from Borden Ladner Gervais and Norton Rose Fulbright.

Canada's minister of Justice, Arif Virani, announced Monday the appointments of Borden Ladner partner and national business leader of commercial litigation Mathieu Piché-Messier and fellow Montrealer Horia Bundaru, a partner and head of the local litigation group at Norton Rose Fulbright, as judges at the Superior Court of Quebec. Both will sit on the bench in Montreal.
