Dentons, one of the world's largest law firms by headcount, is being investigated by the South African anti-corruption agency responsible for reviewing government-awarded contracts.

The Special Investigative Unit (SIU) is probing contracts linked to government-owned energy company Eskom, including one contract for coal forensic investigation services from KapdiTwala, which trades as Dentons South Africa, the SIU said in a statement on its website. The SIU did not respond to a request for comment.
