U.K.-headquartered Smartmatic has reportedly reached a settlement with Newsmax, resolving its defamation claims in a U.S. court days before they were scheduled to go to trial.
Sean O'Sullivan, chief of communications for the Delaware courts, confirmed the settlement on Thursday. Details have not been released.
