BCLP has added longtime Orrick corporate partner George Rigo as a partner in Paris to enhance its ability to meet growing client demand for advice on complex cross-border transactions, the firm announced Friday.
Rigo, whose 23 years at Orrick included almost 19 as partner, focuses on mid- to large-cap M&A deals and joint ventures. He has advised on transactions in the technology, media and telecommunications, agrifood, automotive, and services sectors, as well as on French energy and renewable energy projects, in particular financing and acquisition of wind and solar projects.
