UK Supreme Court Upholds €1.3B Judgment Against Argentina
The judgment secured by Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan orders Argentina to pay investors slighted by a change in methodology for calculating the South American country's gross domestic product.

The U.K. Supreme Court has refused Argentina's application to appeal a ruling in favor of bondholders who accused the South American country of manipulating economic statistics in order to skip securities payments.
Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, which represented the bondholders, said the €1.3 billion judgment is now final and that claimants will collect $350 million held in an appeal deposit.
