Taylor Wessing Germany has increased the basic salaries of its associates and senior associates as competition for junior lawyers ramps up in Europe.

The Anglo-German firm, headquartered in Düsseldorf, announced that associates can now earn €120,000 in their first two years, rising to €130,000 in the third year onwards. Senior associates in their fourth year will receive €140,000 euros and €150,000 in the fifth year. The firm is also increasing the bonus cap to €75,000.
