Australian Senator Accuses PwC International of Inhibiting Accountability

Courtesy photo. An Australian Senator has accused PwC International of trying to inhibit transparency and accountability and interfering with Australian parliamentary, regulatory and legal authorities in relation to its tax leaks scandal.
The comments came after the release of letters from the firm's global general counsel Diana Weiss revealed that the global firm imposed its own management on the Australian operation and sought to vet the local firm's responses to regulatory and legal inquiries.
