French dispute resolution boutique Clay Arbitration, along with U.S.-headquartered law firms White & Case and Willkie Farr & Gallagher, have been engaged in a multibillion-dollar international arbitration over the Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline project.

The claim, which has been filed by Iran in Paris, concerns Pakistan's failure to complete its portion of the approximately 2700-kilometre cross-border pipeline. Clay Arbitration is acting for Iran in the dispute, while Pakistan has turned to White & Case and Willkie for counsel.
