Elite U.S. firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett is launching in Luxembourg with the hire of three high-profile partners based in the European funds hub.
The firm has announced it has hired A&O Shearman partners Jean-Christian Six, who was also co-head of funds & asset management and head of Luxembourg investment funds at his former firm, and his colleague partner Yannick Arbaut, and Clifford Chance Luxembourg co-head of investment funds Paul Van den Abeele to set up a new private capital focused offering.
