Two of Australia’s top mergers and acquisitions partners are switching firms, with Niro Ananda leaving Australian firm Clayton Utz for King & Wood Mallesons and Tony Damian leaving Herbert Smiths Freehills for Ashurst.
HSF confirmed Damian is leaving the firm, with Matt FitzGerald, managing partner for corporate, Australia and Asia, saying in a statement: “We are grateful to Tony for the contribution that he has made to our firm, and he leaves with our best wishes.”
