Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has hired Reed Smith’s Singapore financial services regulatory and fintech partner Hagen Rooke just weeks after announcing that it will be halving its partnership head count in the city.
Rooke’s arrival follows the firm’s earlier loss in May, when head of its financial regulatory practice in Singapore, Grace Chong, left for the partnership of Big Four Singapore firm Drew & Napier.
