The technology a firm uses to store confidential information may seem like the obvious culprit of leaks and inadvertent disclosures, but according to legal experts, the responsibility likely falls on the firm.
In November, Law.com International reported that trainees and associates at Norton Rose Fulbright’s South Africa office had been accused of accessing confidential information, including personal emails and documents, though the files were unrelated to client information.
