Ransomware attacks, AI-driven threats, and supply chain breaches are increasingly targeting business operations, warns Hélène Deschamps Marquis, Toronto-based national co-leader of Borden Ladner Gervais’ privacy and cybersecurity group.
She noted the trend of cybersecurity threats moving away from simply stealing personal information to ransomware attacks that disrupt business operations, ramped up with the help of artificial intelligence.
