Jones Day is expanding its global corporate practice composed of M&A and private equity lawyers.

Jones Day is expanding its Frankfurt corporate practice with the hiring of former A&O Shearman partner Michiel Huizinga.
Huizinga, with more than 20 years’ experience in M&A, advises financial investors on complex private equity transactions. His clients include Brookfield Private Equity, Charterhouse Capital, Centerbridge Partners and Advent International.
“This is an important step in the expansion and strengthening of our German private equity practice,” Ansgar Rempp, Jones Day partner-in-charge of Germany said in a statement.
