Akin Adds Orrick Partner in London
With this latest hire, the firm is consolidating its newly launched global capital solutions team.

Akin, Gump, Strauss Hauer & Feld has strengthened its London corporate ranks with the addition of a partner from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe.
Partner Daniel Wayte, who is set to start at Akin later this month, will sit within the firm’s recently launched global capital solutions team.
Wayte, who has been a partner at Orrick since September 2018, has also previously spent time at other elite outfits including Milbank and Slaughter and May, where he spent just short of a decade.
