A £1.5 billion class action claim against Apple gets underway today, the opening of what is expected to be a seven-week trial before London's Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT).
Lawyers will argue that Apple’s 30% App Store commission is “excessive and unfair”, and breaches European and U.K. competition laws given the company’s “dominant position in the app market”.
