A division of Big Four accounting firm KPMG successfully won an endorsement from a key court committee overseeing the accounting giant's application to operate a law firm based in Arizona on Tuesday.
The Arizona Supreme Court's Committee on Alternative Business Structures unanimously recommended that the high court approve an application by KPMG Law US LLC to operate a law firm in the state. KPMG aims to become the first Big Four firm to deliver legal services via the Arizona ABS program, which went into effect at the start of 2021.
