The director of legal for delivery giant Evri was forced to defend the company’s working practices before MPs in Parliament, after a number of whistleblowers’ claims were put to him.
Hugo Martin, director of legal and public affairs at Evri, denied that the company employed people on “slave drivers contracts”, and repeatedly insisted he did not recognise claims of poor working environments.
