Clifford Chance, Milbank and Malaysian law firm Rahmat Lim & Partners have been engaged in Los Angeles-based hyperscale data center developer Yondr Group’s $900 million-plus debt financing for a development in Malaysia.
The project involves the construction and operation of a 98 megawatt data center in Johor, according to a Clifford Chance statement. It is part of a wider digital infrastructure development in the city’s Sedenak Tech Park, which upon completion is set to be the largest hyperscale data center campus in Southeast Asia, delivering up to 340 megawatt of “critical IT capacity”.
