A $13.8 billion damages claim by an imprisoned Russian businessman has been thrown out by London’s High Court.
Ziyavudin Magomedov, who is currently serving 19 years in prison, had been seeking damages from 22 defendants, who had, he and his lawyers alleged, conspired with the object of wresting assets from himself and his associated companies.
