A former Baker Botts partner has been ordered to pay a legal costs order of £35,000 after a judge ruled he had “abused” the court process, concluding a three-year dispute against his former firm around missing pay.
Dr. David Ramm, who is currently a corporate partner in Crowell & Moring’s London office, initiated insolvency proceedings against his former outfit, Baker Botts, after he claimed the firm failed to pay him for services he had provided before leaving in June 2022.
