Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Kirkland & Ellis are advising private equity giant KKR on its acquisition of a U.K.-based logistics company in a deal that sees former Kirkland partner Sinead O’Shea work alongside her former Simpson Thacher colleagues.

Simpson Thacher is advising KKR in connection with the acquisition of Milton-Keynes based Dawsongroup, a 90-year old family-owned logistics supplier that leases out assets such as vehicles, and refrigerated boxes, via 30,000 supply chain links across industries. The Simpson Thacher team is being led from London by co-head of the firm’s energy and infrastructure practice Amy Mahon, alongside M&A partner Paul Foote.
