Eversheds Sutherland's two-term co-chief executive Lee Ranson is relocating from the U.K. to Dubai when his management term ends in April, to help drive the firm's expansion in the Middle East.

Lee Ranson, who became the firm’s co-CEO in 2017 and was re-elected to the position in 2021, will take up the post in April and continue as a partner at the firm with a remit to develop its eight-office MENA network. He will also be responsible for the business’s growth in Asia, where the firm entered into a cooperation agreement with China's King & Wood Mallesons in 2023.
