Allens has advised Singaporean property company Frasers Centrepoint Ltd. on a $2.4 billion financing for its acquisition of Australia’s Australand Property Group.

In June, Frasers, which is controlled by Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, outbid Sydney-based Stockland Corp. Ltd. and its $2.35 billion offer for Australand. The two companies had been vying for an investment portfolio that includes 68 properties in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Southeast Queensland.
