Many of Asia’s leading legal practitioners gathered at the Fullerton hotel in Singapore on November 19 to join The Asian Lawyer in celebrating the best transactions and recognising the best lawyers in the region as part of our inaugural Emerging Markets Awards.
Attendees of the dinner included some of Asia’s most prominent in-house counsel and private practitioners, including the head of legal for Qatari telco Oooredoo, which attracted a great deal of attention earlier in 2014 with its $15 billion investment in Myanmar, and Drew & Napier partner Davinder Singh, who is feared in Singapore as the city’s most powerful litigator.
