Han Kun Law Offices is the latest mainland Chinese firm to open in Hong Kong.

The firm has formed an association with local firm Choy, Cheung & Co., and will relocated Beijing partner Chen Dafei to run the new office. Choy, Cheung & Co. was established in August by former Edwards Wildman Palmer intellectual property lawyers Kenneth Choy and Cermain Cheung, and advises technology companies on the IP aspects of capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions transactions and licensing and technological transfer agreements.
