Allens is advising China Communications Construction Co. on its proposed acquisition of John Holland, an infrastructure subsidiary of ASX-listed Leighton Holdings Ltd., for $947 million.
John Holland focuses its operations on major construction projects in Australia. In September, the company was part of a Leighton-led consortium that won a bid to build a $3.2 billion rapid transit system in Sydney.
