O’Melveny & Myers is making a leadership change in Hong Kong, replacing current office managing partner and capital markets lawyer David Johnson with arbitration specialist Friven Yeoh.

Yeoh is a partner in the Los Angeles-based firm’s business trial and litigation practice, largely advising international clients on disputes in China. He has also acted for clients in commercial litigation and regulatory investigations related to product liability, energy and financial services issues. He joined O’Melveny in 2006 from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and was promoted to partner three years later.
