Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has hired a capital markets partner in Hong Kong.
Shuang Zhao joins from Shearman & Sterling, where she was partner advising Chinese companies on their listings in the U.S. Starting at Cleary later this month, she’ll work with partner Freeman Chan, who advises on Hong Kong initial public offerings, and Korea-focused partner Jinduk Han.
