Offshore law firm Carey Olsen has launched in Singapore by stealing away an Allen & Overy partner.

Linda Lee had been a corporate partner with the Magic Circle firm, advising on initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. Notably, in 2010, she was one of the lead partners serving as U.S. counsel to the underwriters of a $22.1 billion global listing of Agricultural Bank of China, which was the world’s largest ever IPO at the time.
