U.K. firm Olswang has hired an Indonesia-focused partner in Singapore.

Toby Grainger was most recently a Jakarta-based partner at Ashurst, where he represented global investors and Indonesian companies on mergers and acquisitions and projects in and out of the Southeast Asian country. Last year, he advised lenders, including the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, the Export-Import Bank of Korea and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., on financing a $2.8 billion liquefied natural gas project in Indonesia. He had also acted for JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, British hospitality company Whitbread and Dutch trading house Trafigura Beheer B.V. on Indonesia related work.
