DLA Piper has hired a China real estate partner from Paul Hastings.
Wayne Ma has advised international investors and lenders on real estate assets acquisitions, disposals and financing deals in China. In December, he advised private equity firm The Carlyle Group on a $242 million acquisition of a 32-storey Grade-A office building in Shanghai. Last September, he also acted for Carlyle and CLSA on a $423 million sale of a 25-storey Shanghai office building to Guangzhou-based Yuexiu REIT.
