DLA Piper has hired an employment partner in Sydney.
Nicholas Turner relocates from London where he was a partner at Sidley Austin advising multinational clients on employment law matters. Turner specializes in the financial services and insurance industry, having advised global investment banks, hedge funds and brokers on non-contentious matters and employment-related investigations. Last year, he advised Richmond, Virginia-based Genworth Financial Inc. on the employment aspect of a $490 million sale of its lifestyle protection insurance division to French insurer AXA.
