Kenji Taneda advises Japanese companies on equity and debt listings and public and private mergers and acquisitions. In 2014, he was part of MoFo’s team advising Softbank Corp. in Chinese ecommerce company Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.’s $25 billion initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. He had also served as U.S. counsel on Japan Airlines’ $8.5 billion IPO in 2012.
