Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Latham & Watkins have been appointed to advise on Chinese online video company LeEco’s $2 billion cash purchase of U.S. TV maker Vizio.

LeEco, formerly known as LeTV, is buying Vizion which will become a subsidiary while Vizion’s data business Inscape will be operated as a privately owned company. Beijing-based LeEco, dubbed as the “Netflix of China” offers a streaming service and manufactures smart TV and streaming devices.
