Linklaters has relocated London partner Patrick Sheil to Hong Kong to boost its U.S. capital markets offering in Asia.

Sheil advises on the U.S. law side of equity and debt securities offerings. In January, he acted for online retail financial services company CMC Markets Plc. on an $846 million initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange. In 2014, he also represented the underwriters of the Republic of Kenya’s $2 billion sovereign bond, the largest at the time ever issued by the African country.
