The U.K. has long held a solid presence in the legal tech market, but January’s launch of a new angel investment firm could give greater rise to the country’s share of the investment market as well.
Former White & Case executive partner John Bellhouse, along with his son Freddie Bellhouse, a partner at Fordhouse Equity and former Kirkland & Ellis litigator, are set to launch their new angel fund Hamilton Ramsey in January. The fund will look to invest in startups with technology that could serve Big Law practices at the seed and pre-seed level.
