In-house lawyers believe they are the technical match of their colleagues in private practice, with one in four going so far as to claim that they are more legally proficient.

Eighty-seven percent of the respondents to this month’s The Verdict survey, conducted in association with U.K.-based Davies Arnold Cooper, believe that their technical skills are either on a par with their private practice counterparts (59 percent) or superior (28 percent).
