Nonprofits may have noble intentions, but they can still be accused of bad acts. That’s what the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida is learning after getting hit this month with an overtime claim by a former employee.
The group, well-known for housing families to keep them near their sick children during hospital stays, is being sued in federal court in the Southern District of Florida for allegedly denying overtime to an assistant house manager in Miami.
