Summer is unofficially over. Care to take a guess at what changed in the legal industry while we were away? Correct, absolutely nothing. Sure, some firms went on talent raids, some merged and others ended their alliances, some added an extra day (or maybe 2) to the in-office part of the hybrid workplace. But unless you’re directly affected, it’s just entertaining gossip.

So, as we welcome you back, we can confirm that nothing in our ecosystem has changed. Our 3-sided market is still disconnected in all the same places. Clients still have problems to solve. Lawyers still exist to solve those problems and still find this rewarding. Law firms still supply the lawyers to the clients as a business, with all the business of law implications; targets, PEP tables and the billable hour.
